Hello wonderful people,

I have spent over an hour on the phone with 211 and made many phone calls myself and cannot find shelter for a father and his school aged son. The father has a current DV case from ONE year ago so every shelter has denied him. They are both immigrants and have no other supports. I have been told by a couple shelters they either need TWO or FIVE years from the incident to allow him in.

I cannot stress enough this man has a child who goes to school and they are sleeping outside. My heart is breaking everyday because they can't access resources-its very discouraging and seems like nobody will help.

Any miracles out there for shelters? Either King or Pierce county. 🙏
