Tacoma Pierce County Coalition to End homelessness Meeting this Friday, July 19th, from 9:00am-11:00am. We are at the Salvation Army Church (1110 S Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, WA 98405).

Washington Tenants’ Union and Tacoma Tenants Organizing Committee– update on their work to secure tenant rights, information on their tenant outreach and education project, and efforts around just cause eviction

National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty – a presentation by Tristia Bauman on why punitive approaches to homelessness are ineffective, expensive, and often unconstitutional, and about constructive alternative policies
that can help communities prevent and end homelessness.
