A good resource in the Renton/Kent area is the Alliance Center in Kent at 515 West Harrison.  It is a co-location of the Multi Service Center, Renton Technical College, Consejo, NAMI and the Kent Food Bank.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am looking for community resources in the Renton area that can help my Great Nephew learn some life skills. My nephew is 18, he just graduated from high school in June 2019 and now he is not doing anything because he lacks the knowledge, skills, and confidence he needs.

The types of community resources that I am looking for are:

Soft skills training

Assistance with Resume and Cover Letter writing

Job search and Interview skills

Apprenticeship Programs

Financial Classes

Assistance with Completing FASA for college (He wants to go to barber school)

Computer Training Classes etc…

If you have information about any of the above listed community resources in or near Renton please send them my way.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. I appreciate your support.

Respectfully,
