We’ve have an adult male client who needs housing. We’d appreciate guidance on the best way to support him.
- Before we started working with him he was living in his car and on the street.
- He has a DSHS caseworker who is working on a referral for HEN. If he gets HEN, we’re concerned he won’t be able to navigate finding a rental by himself. Do HEN providers help actually
find the housing? We’d love help determining which Pierce County HEN provider to use as we’re unfamiliar with navigating HEN.
- He may have mental illness but has no formal diagnosis that we know of.
If anyone has recommendations on how we might be able to find him housing or additional assistance we’d sincerely appreciate it!
Thanks for all you do.
