Dear Friends of CPTC Transitional Studies Department you are invited to participate in Clover Park Technical College Transitional Studies Department 3^rd Annual Family and Friends Literacy Night on October 17, 2019 from 4:30-7:30pm. 

This event is to promote the importance of literacy to all of our current students and their family and friends. This also serves as a great opportunity for local businesses and community partners to share their valuable resources and support a family-friendly, fun night celebrating literacy.

Programs offered in Transitional Studies focus on helping and giving back to our community. Transitional Studies programs consist of English Language Learning (ELL), Adult Basic Education/High School Equivalence classes and the I-BEST Program, which provides pre-college level courses to set the foundation for students to pursue a certification or degree in their chosen career path. 

Last year, there were nearly 300 students and family/friends in attendance, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. This is a fun filled family event and we hope to have a representative from your agency join us.
