Dear Friends of CPTC Transitional Studies Department you are invited to participate in Clover Park Technical College Transitional Studies Department 3rd Annual Family and Friends Literacy Night on October 17, 2019 from 4:30-7:30pm.

This event is to promote the importance of literacy to all of our current students and their family and friends. This also serves as a great opportunity for local businesses and community partners to share their valuable resources and support a family-friendly, fun night celebrating literacy.

Programs offered in Transitional Studies focus on helping and giving back to our community. Transitional Studies programs consist of English Language Learning (ELL), Adult Basic Education/High School Equivalence classes and the I-BEST Program, which provides pre-college level courses to set the foundation for students to pursue a certification or degree in their chosen career path.

Last year, there were nearly 300 students and family/friends in attendance, so you definitely don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. This is a fun filled family event and we hope to have a representative from your agency join us.

Please contact me if you or someone from your agency would like to participate at the event.

Thank you for being a friend of the CPTC Transitional Studies Department and for your support to our 3rd Annual Family and Friends Literacy Night.

Warmest regards,

Felicia
