GARDEN WORK PARTIES AT THE VILLAGE |

| Did you know we have a garden at the village? One of our die-hard volunteers Jill Severn (pictured) has worked extremely hard on our garden with a group of residents. They've planted everything from corn and spinach to squash and jalapenos. Garden work can be extremely beneficial and therapeutic. It also builds community and food security for those who have had limited access to both throughout their lives. |

Meet Eli!
Eli is our new Case Management Intern from the Evergreen State College. They are managing our satellite food bank (did we mention we have a satellite food bank with Thurston County!?), and supporting residents and staff. They will be working with us through the 2019-2020 school year and we are so grateful to have them with us! Welcome Eli to the team!

SHELTON UPDATE
Things are moving right along with our Shelton Veterans Village project.
We have an address - 2471 N 13th Street!!! - and a lease with the city.
We are working on the permitting process and hope to break ground in the early Spring of 2020! For updates, visit our Shelton page on our website! |
