Goodwill will be hosting it’s first Meet and Greet of 2020 on Thursday, January 9th at 1pm. Located at 714 S. 27th St Tacoma 98409. This will be an amazing opportunity to immediately enroll into:
Barista Skills Training: Tailored around the growing demands of the specialty coffee industry, the Barista Training program will guide you through the basic operations of a café and the skills required to be a barista. The 8-week
training program is available to anyone over the age of 16
Career Readiness- This innovative 40-hour training course provides those looking for work, or to advance their career, with the skills necessary to become successful employees. Course includes- Computer Basics, Financial Literacy,
Math Basics, Work Fundamentals and Employment Placement. Class schedule January 10 – January 31, Monday –Friday 1pm-4pm
*Students may attend any or all classes, and will receive our Career Readiness Credential upon completion of all 40 hours of training.
Financial Education: A free 10 hour course in money management designed to build personal financial stability and independence. Tacoma Public Utility customers whom are income qualified may receive $80 off their bill for taking this
class. Class dates January 13-16 with two options: Mornings 10am-12:30pm or 5-7:30pm
Adult and Youth GED: Easy enrollment, flexible schedule. This class helps an individual prepare for GED tests. The class offers structured curriculum delivered by qualified basic skills instructors.
Environmental Training: This 6-week free course offers multiple certifications and training for entry-level positions, with the ability to grow your career! Students will receive OSHA 10, 40 hour Hazwoper, Forklift/Scissor lift,
Asbestos Removal, Chemical Safety, Lead RRP and First Aid certifications. Only two orientations left January 9 & 16 at 1pm!
