Good morning,

Those of you who follow the Tacoma City Council's agendas, may have seen the Use of Public Property ordinance listed for a first reading on May 18.  The City has assured us that there will be an amendment pushing the first reading to May 25.

The ordinance will be "daylighted" at the May 18 noon City Council Study Session.  Once we have that final draft, we'll send it out on the listserv.

The City's calendar is expected to be:

May 18 - "daylight" the ordinance at the noon Council Study Session

May 25 - first reading of the ordinance at the Tuesday Council meeting

June 8 - final vote on the ordinance at the Tuesday Council meeting

The Coalition's calendar is expected to be:

As needed - discussion at the Wed. 3pm Steering Committee meetings 5/19, 5/26, 6/2

No later than June 4 - decision on the Coalition's public position on the ordinance
