Helping Homeless Students:
McKinney-Vento 101

In partnership with the Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness, we are pleased to offer FREE WORKSHOPS designed for public school staff, homeless service providers and others involved in supporting students experiencing homelessness:

· Learn the rights of students experiencing homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act.

· Brainstorm how to problem-solve issues regarding McKinney-Vento laws when they arise.

· Participate in interactive activities designed to increase understanding of the challenges that students who are experiencing homeless face.
