You’re invited to two public meetings to discuss temporary shelter

Please mark your calendars and consider participating in two upcoming public meetings to help identify potential sites for temporary shelter within the Tacoma city limits. Each 90-minute meeting will feature a structured conversation about temporary shelter, what is needed to make shelters successful, and how volunteers can help with the sustainability of shelter sites.
Meetings will be held:
• January 28th, from 6 - 7:30 p.m., in the Tacoma Public Library Main Branch, 1102 Tacoma Avenue South.
• February 4th, from 1 - 2:30 p.m., at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 7410 South 12th Street.
We are seeking comments and participation from members of the Tacoma community at large, members of faith-based organizations, nonprofits, and the community of those who are currently homeless.
