General question:  If we send the location of an encampment to be included in this list, does that put them on the radar for a potential sweep?

Subject: Homeless Coalition - Encampment Locations

To prepare for inclement weather outreach, locations of homeless encampments are needed. The goal is to have a developing list of encampments so that effective outreach and delivery of supplies can be coordinated. Many of the locations in Tacoma are known, but those from Key Peninsula, east county (Puyallup, Bonney Lake, Orting, etc.) and south county (Graham, Roy, Eatonville, etc.) are sought.

An encampment can be as small as a single tent or structure.

Please send locations of encampments and approximate number of tents or structures to Jeff Rogers (Jeff.Rogers@Piercecountywa.gov), with a cc to me (dorsett.richard@gmail.com) and Ed Jacobs (Ed.jacobs2@gmail.com).
